Our goal is to contribute to modern man’s handling and optimisation of health conditions, social conditions, societal participation as well as the unique and reflective layout of modern man’s life.
We prepare and conduct research projects, which, as a main rule, has a point of departure in ongoing issues in life which may be health related or of a social or personal nature. The research is often interdisciplinary in that it aims to incorporate social, psychological, anthropological, philosophical and health-related research competencies. The diversity of subjects is bound together by a phenomenological perspective and a focus on the layout of each individual’s life. Furthermore, the activities are bound together by a deliberate design of interdisciplinary theory models (with an eye to bio psychosocial interaction) as well as a theory-of-action-perspective levelled at a humanitarian society.
